Leavitt Meadows Campground
Humboldt-Toiyabe Nat'l Forest - Bridgeport Ranger District

Leavitt Meadows is located along Highway 108 on the way up (or down) Sonora Pass.  The camp overlooks the Walker River.  It is a really pretty place, in a moderately dense pine forest.  Leavitt Falls is just a short drive up the road.  There is a hike right out of camp.

Sites are scattered in one loop.  This camp is small and sites go quickly.  Of course the ones facing the river and are away from the highway are best.  Visited 08/98, 09/06.
