Logger Campground

Logger campground is located at the southern shore of Stampede Reservoir approximately 20 minutes from Interstate 80 at the Hirschdale Road exit.  

This is a really big campground, but only a few of the loops are open at the season opening, and more are open as demand exists.  The reverse happens in September.  This makes it feel pretty full at times.  

Campsites are fairly dense forested, but many are close together. Come early in order to get one of the better private spots.  There are toilets spread all around the complex, mostly vault toilets but there are a few flushers. The boat ramp is nearby.  Reviewed 05/1997.
