There is no longer a campground at Snowshoe Springs. During an inspection in June 2008, the campground was no longer there. Completely gone and dismantled. The Forest Service has no plans to re-open this campground.

You will need to visit adjacent Carson River Canyon campgrounds at Kit Carson and Crystal Springs to camp in this area.
