The Modoc National Forest offers this description: Cedar Pass campground is set in the Warner Mountains with a small sparkling stream, and the greenest trees surrounding it. It is the perfect spot for a week or weekend of rest and relaxation. Also a perfect spot for a mid-day picnic just to get away from it all. On State Highway 299, eight miles west of Cedarville. The nearest food, gasoline, and restaurant are located in the town of Cedarville, California. The nearest 24 hour services are located in Alturas, CA.
