Lower Rush Creek Campground
Modoc National Forest - Big Valley Ranger District
Longitude -120.87909, Latitude 41.29312

Click to Locate Lower Rush Creek Campground on an Area Map Lower Rush Creek is located in south west Modoc County a short distance off of Highway 299, between the communities of Adin and Canby. Access from Hwy 299 starts out paved but then becomes a good dirt road.

The sites are set among fairly shady deciduous trees and pines on Rush Creek. Camp sites along the creek are shadier and prettier. There is plenty of places to fish nearby, if that's your game, or you can drive to the top of Manzanita Lookout if you prefer to Four-Wheel. Bathrooms were nice and clean at time of review.

Visited August 1998.
