According to CGN visitor Patrick Gregoire, the Hemenway Campground has been closed for some time. And when checking the National Park Service's website, they make no mention of a campground at Hemenway. Furthermore, a review of satellite photos show the campground further deteriorating since 1999 as if it has been closed and allow to return to the desert. Camping Guide Nevada considers this campground closed. It's always sad to lose another facility.
