CGN Reader Thomas Noble visited Hilltop Campground in September 2008 and offered the following comments, "I spent the weekend camping at Hilltop campground spot #28. and although they have great campsites maintained very well, most campsites are real close to one another. there are a few that would be great for privacy they must be reserved atleast a month in advance. There are some shade options at most campsites. i would rate is as a 6 tops and it is extermemly crowded with locals and tourists alike.
