Camping Guide Nevada has not visited South Ruby Campground Campground. It was formerly called Ruby Marsh Campground and the name was changed in the Mid 1990's. A review will posted after inspection.

National Forest Service Description: "South Ruby is located near a vital waterfowl nesting area, and beneath the snow-covered Ruby Mountains. The area is covered with springs, meadows, and grasslands. Located in northeast Nevada, 75 miles southwest of the town of Wells. Elevation is 6,000 feet. Sites are sheltered by pinion pine and juniper trees. View of Ruby Lake National Wildlife Refuge. Limited supplies are available 11 miles north of campground. Facilities include a fish cleaning station. There is deer hunting on adjacent lands. No discharge of firearms or fireworks."
