Big Spring Reservoir Campground
U.S. Fish Wildlife Service - Charles Sheldon Nat'l Wildlife Refuge
Longitude -119.18082, Latitude 41.93096

Click to Locate Big Spring Reservoir Campground on an Area Map Big Spring is a very basic campground on a reservoir. Pretty popular with fishermen, otherwise not much of a destination. It is in a scenic high-desert location.

The reservoir has lots of green reeds surrounding the lake, kind of marshy with ducks and such. There are sporadic sites in the "camping area". Basically they just are fire pits. No picnic tables. But bring your float tube and rod. The reservoir is stocked by Nevada Division of Wildlife. Reviewed 09/1998.
